TPC Las Vegas
Since opening in 1996, the TPC Las Vegas golf course (previously TPC Canyons) has been host to multiple PGA TOUR events including the Las Vegas Invitational and Las Vegas Senior Classic, with some of the world’s best golfers and major title winners—Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, John Daly, Hale Irwin and Jim Furyk—earning their way to the champions’ list here.
The TPC Las Vegas golf course offers an incomparable level of play and challenge for every skill set. The club’s par-71, 7,081-yard championship golf course, designed by acclaimed architect Bobby Weed and World Golf Hall of Famer Raymond Floyd, is commonly referred to as “desert elegance.” At TPC Las Vegas, the natural elements at are impossible to overlook. Dramatic scenery abounds, including a view of Red Rock Canyon, and the course meanders over several hundred acres, earning its distinction as a “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” by the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System. It’s the raw landscape within the course boundaries that are most fascinating—and frustrating—for golfers. It’s also one of the few Las Vegas golf courses that gives men and women the option to play the course from a blended tee yardage.
“I would put TPC Las Vegas up against any golf course you care to mention. It’s as unique as they come and I’m very proud of the way it has turned out, especially given the challenges of designing a golf course on such a challenging piece of property.” —Raymond Floyd
