Seaside Course

Seaside is the pinnacle of links golf. Situated at the southern tip of St. Simons Island at The Lodge, this oceanside course places a premium on careful shot selection, recovery, and putting. Offering Sea Island’s most demanding layout, Seaside is the host venue for the PGA TOUR’s RSM Classic, along with Plantation Course. Seaside has also hosted multiple USGA events, challenging golf’s best amateur players.

Plantation Course

With Rees Jones’ masterful renovation, Plantation Course unfolds among a forest of ancient live oak and cedar, with a hint of danger lurking in its tidal creeks and lakes. Plantation, which along with Seaside is the site of the RSM Classic, boasts expansive fairways that give definition to the course, showcasing beautiful views of the ocean, oaks, and blooming flowers – enticing the accomplished and inviting the novice.

Retreat Course

When Davis Love III and his brother, Mark, began renovating the Retreat Course in October 2000, they knew they had a difficult task. Blending the players’ preferences from the previous design, the brothers created an original design that is dramatic. The green complexes are a combination of slope, sand bunkers, and undulations creating a masterful test, challenging the golfer to hit a variety of shots.

The Retreat course features 6,490 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 71.8 and it has a slope rating of 133 on Bermuda grass.
