From the moment of arrival, you’ll experience a place like no other. The relaxed comfort of Pelican Hill® takes inspiration from the work of 16th century Italian architect Andrea Palladio, best known for his grand homes across the Venetian countryside. Like the Mediterranean, the sun-drenched climate of Southern California allows for indoor spaces to open up to the outdoors and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.
Each one-story Bungalow Guest Room or Bungalow Suite features a limestone fireplace, private terrace, most with ocean views, hand-hewn wood beam ceiling, marble bath and adjacent parking. They are a spacious 847 to 1,634 square feet.
Our Villas are set in an exclusive, gated enclave and are a more intimate way to enjoy The Resort with a private clubhouse and pool, butler service and dedicated staff. Ranging from 2,193 to 3,581 square feet, The Villas offer two, three or four bedrooms and expansive ocean-view terraces.

The Spa at Pelican Hill®
This Five-Star spa retreat features 22 treatment rooms, separate men’s and women’s Relaxation Lounges and Acqua Colonnades with Roman-style deep-soaking tubs, saunas and steam rooms, a Fitness Center, Movement Studio, Salon, Spa Boutique, Spa Suite and an extensive spa cuisine menu. Coliseum Pool
Inspired by its namesake, this pool is in a perfect circle 136 feet in diameter. Luxuriously furnished cabanas provide the perfect hideaway with food and beverage service available from the fun and casual Coliseum Pool & Grill.

The Courses
Panoramic ocean views from every tee box are just the beginning. Open canyons and elevated plateaus dot the landscape, and at nearly 7,000 yards from the tips, your full attention is required. Several holes weave their way right down to the cliff’s edge, but great shots here require more than just a great camera. Lose your focus, and you might just lose the hole.
But the South Course is more than just eye candy. The pristine greens look harmless at first glance, but most are surrounded by bunkers and deep chasms, momentarily stealing your attention from the 270-degree views of the Pacific. Concentration here is a must, lest you end up taking more shots with your wedge than you do with your camera.
