Open canyons and elevated plateaus dot the landscape, and at nearly 7,000 yards from the tips, your full attention is required. Several holes weave their way right down to the cliff’s edge, but great shots here require more than just a great camera. Lose your focus, and you might just lose the hole. ![Course-Ocean-South-Course](https://22530123.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/22530123/website-2023/Assets-Images/Locations/California/Newport-Beach-Golf-Getaway/Course/Course-Ocean-South-Course.png) Ocean South Course But the South Course is more than just eye candy. The pristine greens look harmless at first glance, but most are surrounded by bunkers and deep chasms, momentarily stealing your attention from the 270-degree views of the Pacific. Concentration here is a must, lest you end up taking more shots with your wedge than you do with your camera. ## Related Packages From coast to coast, Golf Experiences is offering all golfers the opportunity to explore the country’s best golf resorts.
