The Courses

Course-Scottsdale-Stadium-Course

The Stadium Course, TPC Scottsdale
Since opening in 1986, The Stadium Course at TPC Scottsdale has hosted some of contemporary golf’s greatest moments. The course was designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf specifically to serve as the stage for the PGA TOUR’s Waste Management Phoenix Tournament, an event that draws over 500,000 fans and is the largest spectator golf event in the world. In fact, the enthusiasm of fans transforms the 16th hole into “The Coliseum”, creating one of the most exciting settings in professional sports. This is just one of the many unique locations on the Stadium Course where fans witness history-making moments by the world’s greatest players on the PGA TOUR.

Course-Scottsdale-Champions-Course

The Champions Course, TPC Scottsdale
Built on the former site of TPC Scottsdale’s Desert Course, the Champions Course was designed by Randy Heckenkemper to fit seamlessly into the natural desert terrain. Rivaling its famous sister course in beauty and playability, the Champions Course is the consummate desert golf experience. The par-71, 7,115-yard course meanders over natural ravines and picturesque foothills, with five par-3s and a diverse variety of par-4s and par-5sm and a quartet of dramatic finishing holes make this golf gem a must play.

Course-Cholla

Cholla Course, We-Ko-Pa Resort

The Cholla Course at We-Ko-Pa Golf Club offers a dramatic test of golf that plays through shady arroyos, over desert ridges and amid some of the most picturesque Sonoran Desert on the planet. For this reason, Cholla is widely considered as one of the most pristine desert golf experiences in the Southwest with no homes or other development to spoil the sweeping views of the nearby river valleys, Red Mountain, Four Peaks and the rest of the majestic Superstition Mountains. The aesthetic charm of Cholla appeals to golfers just as much as its strategic challenge.

Since then, Zagat Survey 2007-2008 gave Cholla its highest rating among all Arizona courses. More recently, Golf Magazine listed it as No. 45 in its ranking of the “Top 100 You Can Play” for 2014. And in 2015, Golfweek bestowed Cholla with three prestigious rankings: 13th “Best Casino Courses” in the U.S.; 4th “Best Courses You Can Play” in Arizona; and No. 70 on the list of America’s “Best Resort Courses.”

Course-Saguaro

Saguaro Course, We-Ko-Pa Resort

The Saguaro Course at We-Ko-Pa Golf Club combines distinctive desert-golf traits with the timeless traditions of golf course design. For example, it’s built for walking with greens situated near to the next tee. It follows the natural movement of the land; they didn’t move much dirt. And the playing corridors are wider when compared to target-golf design.
Like its sister course, Saguaro has garnered numerous awards and accolades from golf industry leading publications. Golf Digest gave it the 21st spot in its 2015-2016 list of the “Best in State Rankings: Arizona,” which considers both public and private courses across the state.

Course-Sunridge-Canyon

Sunridge Canyon Golf Course

SunRidge Canyon’s 6,823-yard, par-71, Keith Foster-designed golf course unfolds around the rugged ridges and shady canyons unique to the desert mountains that divide Fountain Hills from Scottsdale, Arizona. This golf course gradually descends on the way out before doubling back to climb up the slope on the way in. This subtle elevation change lies at the heart of the dramatic golf experience at SunRidge Canyon. Golfers also discover that it wasn’t so much created by a bulldozer as it was carved out over eons by the relentless pressure of wind and water. Foster had the good sense to follow Mother Nature’s lead, and in the end, the beauty and challenge of SunRidge Canyon is unlike any other desert golf experience in the Valley of the Sun.

Course-Eagle-Mountain

Eagle Mountain Golf Club

Nestled in the ravines of Arizona’s McDowell Mountains and colorized by dramatic sunrises and sunsets, Eagle Mountain Golf Club beckons those who desire an outstanding golf experience. Opened in 1996, this Scott Miller designed course is a spectacular representation of man’s creation in harmony with nature, as it winds through natural box canyons, rolling hills and lush desert valleys.

Course-Legend-Trail-Golf-Club-1

Legend Trail Golf Club

With its generous fairways, strategic bunkering and contoured greens, it’s no wonder why Legend Trail has been chosen as one of Golf Magazine’s Top 100 courses. The exquisitely manicured course meanders through the Sonoran Desert landscape and features breathtaking, panoramic vistas, including some of the area's well-known landmarks such as Pinnacle Peak and Lone Mountain. A round at Legend Trail Golf Club will provide players of all skill levels with numerous diverse and unique shot-making situations.

Course-McCormick-Ranch-Pine-Course

Pine Course, McCormick Ranch Golf Club

Hitting the corridor fairways of the Pine Course requires a mindful tee shot. Water comes into play on six holes, and local players will give you different tips on how you should play coveted hole number 15. Course architect Desmond Muirhead nailed it in 1972 when he developed the “fine pine”. The Pine Course is continually selected by the PGA to host the regional qualifier for the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

Course-McCormick-Ranch-Palm-Course

Palm Course, McCormick Ranch Golf Club

An oasis in the desert, the Palm Course offers panoramic mountain vistas beyond vast, sparkling lakes. Course Designer Desmond Muirhead created a classic in 1972. Water comes into plFPay on 10 holes, and signature hole number 9 has been featured in Golf Illustrated’s Top 18 Water Holes of America.

Course-Troon-North-Golf-Club

Troon North Golf Club

Troon North Golf Club stands as a hallmark of the Scottsdale desert golf experience with two 18-hole courses stretching through the natural ravines and foothills in the shadows of Pinnacle Peak. Giant granite boulders lie strewn across the rugged landscape of Arizona’s Sonoran Desert, where Troon North Golf Club combines iconic golf with the visual sensation of desert landscape, providing a standard unmatched in the American Southwest.
